Privacy Notice

Last updated 20 October 2026. Swatkins Company Ltd, trading as BaseCreators, is the controller of the personal data described here and is responsible for it under UK data protection law.

What we hold

• Your email address, business name and sign-in details. Passwords are stored in a hashed form and we cannot read them.
• What you enter: leads, suppliers (including supplier email addresses you add), purchase orders, products, stock, sales, claims and settings.
• If you connect Amazon: order, fee and stock data for your seller account, read only for your account. We do not see your Amazon password.
• Billing: plan, status and a customer reference. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Technical records, such as sign-in times and which exports were made, to keep the service secure.

Why we use it

To provide the service you asked for (our contract with you), to take payment, to keep the service secure, and to answer your questions. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who handles it for us

• Supabase, which provides our database and sign-in.
• Vercel, which hosts the website.
• Stripe, which takes payments.
• An email service, which sends sign-in and account emails.

These companies process data only on our instructions. Some may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your business data, and keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records for tax purposes. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, to object to how we use it, or to restrict it. You can export your leads from the Leads page at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

People you invite

If you add a teammate, we hold their email address and what they do in your account, on your behalf. You are responsible for telling them.
